Job Description
Good job for a part time student.
Pros
Ok, so first off I'm a part-timer at my job and I do this while going to school as well. So this may not reflect a full time Insurance Assistant.
So what I do is look at company policies for health insurance and other types of insurances that a company may have. Then I analyze which ones are up for renewal and what types of policies are up for renewals and create new contracts for them. Pretty easy stuff once you get used to it.
1)Flexibilty - super flexible with my hours.
2)On the Job Training - this means that everything I know I learned on the job and wasn't expected to know this before I got the job. This makes it an easy job to get in the beginning.
3)Easy, no Stress - so if you totally just want a 9-5pm no stress job, then this is perfect for you. It won't challenge you or really stress you out. Very monotonous.
Cons
For the same reasons I like my job I dislike my job.
1) Absolutely not challenging - this job is super repetitive and once you learn how to do things it's very monotonous.
2) Boring, really really boring.
